What MTResume is

MTResume is a resume builder for musical theater and acting. This policy describes, in plain language, what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Your account: your email address, and a display name. If you sign in with Google, both come from what your Google account shares with us. If you sign up with an email address and password, we store the address; the password itself is handled by our authentication provider and we never see it.
• Your resume content: whatever you type into the editor, such as credits, training, skills, and the contact details you choose to put on your resume.
• An optional headshot photo, if you upload one. It is stored privately. It appears on a public page only if you publish one and leave the headshot switched on for it, which you control in the Share tab.
• Your date of birth, asked once when you set up your account. We use it only to tell whether you are 18 or older, which decides whether public web pages are available to you and whether your resume starts with a parent or guardian's contact. It is never printed on your resume and never appears on a public page.
• Guest sessions: if you build without signing in, we create a temporary anonymous account so your work can save. It holds only what you type, and it becomes your real account if you later sign in with Google or create an account with an email address.

We do not run analytics trackers or advertising pixels.

How we use it

Only to run the product: signing you in, saving your work, and generating your printable resume. We do not show ads, and we do not sell or share your data with data brokers or advertisers.

Public pages are your choice

Resumes are private unless you publish a share page from the editor. A published page shows only the fields you choose, at an unguessable link, and stays out of search engines unless you separately opt in. You can unpublish at any time.

Performers under 18

Performers under 18 are welcome here. Public web pages are turned off for those accounts, so this product does not publish anything about a minor, and their resume starts out listing a parent or guardian's contact instead of their own. Everything else, including PDF export and paid features, works the same.

Where it lives

The app is hosted on Vercel, and your data is stored with Supabase, in the United States. Both act as processors on our behalf.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from the account page. That permanently removes your account, your resumes, and any uploaded headshot.
